APTIFY RELEASES VERSION 4.5 OF ITS BUSINESS MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE

Aptify, a leading international provider of customer and member relationship management, e-business, education management and other applications, announces the release of version 4.5 of its software.

The new release includes over 35 new features and enhancements, and is the culmination of customer demand and the Company’s desire to provide current, industry-leading technology.

Aptify Vice-President, Research and Development, Ravi Nagarajan says, “We are very proud of the 4.5 release due to the number of features we have included as a direct result of our discussions with clients. With each new version, Aptify strives to deliver additional value added functionality to our customers that will improve productivity and ease of use while bringing greater visibility to management through advanced business intelligence capabilities.”

Here are some of the enhancements made in Aptify 4.5:

  • Viewing System: Map Views – A new Map view has been included in the Aptify viewing system that allows users to gain additional insight into their data with geographic components through a map interface, leveraging Microsoft MapPoint software.
  • Viewing System: Gantt Views – Version 4.5 introduces a new view type that displays record information in a Gantt chart to track resource allocation, assist with project management and help to visualize dependencies within the data.
  • Expo Management: EXPOCAD Integration - Aptify 4.5 includes a new generic infrastructure to integrate with third-party floor plan systems. This new version provides built-in integration with EXPOCAD, one of the leading exposition floor plan vendors on the market today.
  • Order Entry: Automatically Generate Credit Memos for Advance Payments - Aptify 4.5 streamlines the data entry process with its Order Entry system, as a user can automatically create a credit memo order when customers provide a payment in advance, that does not apply to any existing order.
  • Committee Management: Committee Term Renewal Wizard - A new Committee Term Renewal wizard allows users to easily select members and/or add them from one term to another.
  • Aptify Framework Administration: Meta-Data Driven Wizards - Beginning with Aptify 4.5, system administrators and developers can easily create new wizards in Aptify, entirely through meta-data, without having to compile code in Visual Studio.
  • Aptify Framework Enhancement: Drag-and-Drop Attachments to a Record - With Aptify 4.5, a user can add attachments by dragging and dropping files to a record's Attachments tab. The release also includes the ability to drag and drop emails from Microsoft Outlook to records in Aptify for maximum productivity. Aptify’s 4.5 release is compatible with Microsoft® Windows Vista, SQL Server 2005 Workgroup Edition and the 64-bit Windows 2003 Server operating system.
