By enabling BI capabilities directly within Aptify, end-users can easily access these powerful analytical tools without having to learn a complex 3rd-party product. While 3rd-party products can still be used if desired, many forms of analysis can be easily conducted using the native facilities within Aptify. Many Aptify analysis tools are Web enabled so that information can be delivered seamlessly to any person in any format. In addition, using the scheduling capabilities built into Aptify, key reports and metrics can be automatically set to run at a user-defined frequency and delivered to one or more recipients via email, the web, or on a mobile device.
Drill Down
Using Aptify BI, it is possible for an end-user to quickly and intuitively drill-down through any number of levels of data. For example, a user could start out with a report of global sales by year, drill down into each year, then into each country, quarter, region, product line, and even down into an individual database record. The definition, number, and formatting of each layer of drill-down is user-defined making it easy to change and enhance to meet any business need. Setting up and using Aptify drill-down is straightforward for non-technical users.
Charts and Graphs
A picture can be worth a thousand words! Visualize your business data directly within Aptify with many types of built in charts. There are dozens of example charts in each major application area that pave the way for some of the most common needs. With basic training, a non-technical user can create charts and graphs including pie charts, column charts, bar graphs and much more.
Pivot Tables
Pivot table functionality allows a user to easily summarize and group data and then perform calculations on the results. Calculating totals, sub-totals, summaries, percentages, variances and other statistical computations are a breeze. By using Aptify Pivot Table views, a user with basic training can create many of the reports they need. In addition, several dozen example pivot tables are included in the standard Aptify product to help you get started.
Maps
Visualize your business data in geographical space. Quickly determine where revenue, customers, members and other constituents are coming from and what trends are taking place. Plot locations on a map as symbols and view geographical areas such as states and provinces in colors based on any information in your business applications!
Scheduling
Automatically run and deliver any view or report in Aptify! This capability allows any of the mentioned types of views to be run automatically and delivered to an email address, printer, or remote file location (including web addresses!). Scheduling can also allow you to automatically deliver key reports to external parties such as volunteers, committee members and members.
Web Delivery
Views in Aptify can be displayed in the Windows environment as well as through Aptify Web Access. Users can access reports and views in real-time, on demand and through a web browser. Content from Web Access may also be embedded in members-only and other extranet sites for rich and interactive external reporting.
Mobile Devices
Deliver business critical performance metrics to anyone in your extended enterprise through a variety of media formats. Make it possible for your team members to gain access to valuable business insights at any time, from any location using Aptify Business Intelligence support for distribution to mobile devices.
